In
1985, Chemtrac Systems was founded by Bob Bryant. His vision
was to provide operators of water and wastewater plants a
better method of optimizing coagulant/flocculant dosages.
This was accomplished via a little known technology called
"streaming current" measurement. Over the ensuing
years, this technology flourished, whereby today, it is the
standard method in thousands of water and wastewater
plants worldwide.
In
1991, Chemtrac added another product designed to help operators
further optimize water treatment processes....the particle
monitor. This instrument provides information on potable and
process water quality never attainable through traditional
turbidity measurement. Applications also include ultrapure
water monitoring, oil field waterflood operations, and a variety
of liquid processes where detection of contaminants is critical.
In
1994, Chemtrac developed a special particle counter that afforded
potable water producers a level of monitoring needed to meet
the most stringent water quality requirements ever required
by the EPA. Thousands of units have been installed worldwide.
Chemtrac
continues to pioneer new applications for these two basic
technologies. The company's philosophy continues to be, "Strive
to be the very best in your field of expertise. Help optimize
the customer's process and the payback is mutual."
Chemtrac management has intensified the
company's commitment to you, the end user. We will continue
to do whatever is necessary to ensure that everyone gets what
they expect and pay for - clean, safe water.
